Smart DMX power control—with automatic delayed shutdown.
The DXRL-RT combines a DMX relay controller with an RDM-programmable (ANSI E1.20 RDM-compliant) monitor and shutdown timer in a desktop or truss-mount enclosure. Use it as a conventional DMX-controlled relay, or enable the programmable monitor timer to automatically power equipment during operation and shut it down afterward with a settable delay—ideal for lighting installations and automated equipment power management.
- Monitor any DMX channel range: Any active channel turns the relay on; all monitored channels falling below the threshold starts the countdown.
- Adjustable shutdown delay: Set 0–6 hours through RDM. View or adjust the remaining countdown remotely.
- Flexible DMX-loss behavior: Choose delayed shutdown, continuous ON, or HOLD last state.
- Simple local controls: DIP switches select DMX address, 5%/50% threshold, and stand-alone behavior.
- Ready for installations: PowerCon-style connections (Blue is input, Grey is output) handle up to 15A at 120VAC. Control-electronics power supply included; mating connectors and load cables are not included.
Programming note: Monitor/timer setup requires an RDM controller supporting manufacturer-specific parameters, such as the DMXcat or miniDMXTER. Some lighting consoles cannot access these settings; factory programming is available upon request.
