DS4 DMX 512 1x4 TVS Splitter
Now available in two versions:
A - TVS Isolated Input
B - TVS Isolated Outputs w/ True Fault Indication

Version A (DS4-PCB-A) uses a * SN75LBC184 IC on the input w/ TVS isolation (*see notes below).
Version B (DS4-PCB-B) uses a MAX3088 IC on the input w/ True Fault Indication, and uses a SN75LBC184 IC on each output offering TVS isolation on each output of the splitter.

Description: The DS4 offers protection for your lighting board or DMX generating device and increases your DMX 512 outputs. The DS4 is a DMX512 - 1 in 4 out splitter (or distributor, buffer, amplifier, booster) that takes a DMX 512 output of a lighting console or any device that transmits a DMX 512 signal and offers protection with Transient Voltage Suppression from devices on the daisy chain such as higher voltage dimmers, and actively splits the signal giving 4 separate DMX 512 outputs.
The new versions of the DS4-PCB has a 120 ohm terminating resistor on board with a selectable jumper.

Includes +5VDC Power supply.

*SN75LBC184 - [Version A] A terminated and open condition is considered an unstable state, the data/active indication LED could be either full on or full off. Data traffic is indicated by partially on or flickering illumination.
Also Note - [Verions A] the 4 outputs are separately driven and electronically isolated, not "Transient Voltage Suppressed" isolated from each other.
