19" 1RU Customizable Rack Mount Chassis
Configuration example of a 2x1 Merger, LCD Analzyer / Tester, w/ an Optically Isolated Input Splitter providing 4 outputs.
This
19" 1RU (rack unit) chassis can be purchased with
preconfigured designs OR you can create a chassis with the
options you need. The 12" deep enclosure has plenty of space
for additional circuitry that you could add. Any
of the DMX 512 PCB's can be installed in this chassis.
The rear panel has space for 9 XLR connectors and a power input
connector.

DMX 512 MERGER This 19" 1RU rack unit chassis will merge or combine two DMX 512 signals or universes into one universe. Mode types: HTP (Highest Takes Priority), Append, or Backup. DMX 512 SPLITTER This 19" 1RU rack unit chassis is will Split a DMX 512 signal or universe to seperate outputs each driving up to 32 devices each. See the Optically Isolated Input DSI-4 Splitter or the TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) isolated True Fault DS4 Splitter for more information. DMX 512 ANALYZER / TESTER This 19" 1RU rack unit chassis ia a DMX 512 LCD back lit data DLA Analzyer/Tester display. Displays the levels of any of the 512 channels of a DMX signal in several formats; decimal (0-255), hexadecimal (00-FF), percentages (0-100%), or Bar Graph (displays 24 channels at a time). Allows the user to scroll to view any of the 512 channels. To upgrade any of the 3 pin panel mount connectors or the drive IC's see the UPGRADE options below.

5 PIN XLR UPGRADE OPTION
Upgrade/replace any of the input or output panel mount connectors from the standard 3 pin to 5 pin for only $15 each. To upgrade/replace any 5 pin panel mount connector to this chassis, use this add to cart button and specifically indicate which connector you want to replace with a 5 pin. Do this for EACH connector you want to upgrade.

TVS IC UPGRADE OPTION Upgrade any input or output IC with a Transient Voltage Suppression IC. The SN75LBC184 chip offers more protection than the standard SN75176A chip. DMX daisy chain installations are suseptable to any failure, affecting all of the equipment on the daisy chain. Upgrade/replace any of the input or output IC's for only $5 each. Use this add to cart button and specifically indicate which input or output you want to replace with TVS chip. Do this for EACH input and output you want to upgrade.
